Do I need to use a sanitary product with this swimwear?

As we are all unique in our own way, the same can be said of our periods and daily changes in period flow. To better understand the absorbency
of our products with your flow, we recommend wearing your MYSS purchase at home in and out of the pool or shower for a few hours to figure out
what works best for you.

Flow guide:

LIGHT FLOW = 1 regular tampon, 1 teaspoon or 5ml

Suitable for spotting, drips and light discharge

MODERATE FLOW= 2 regular tampon, 1-2 teaspoons or 10ml

Wear time is reduced, we suggest checking the absorbency of your garment
more often and consider wearing in conjunction with your regular sanitary products.

HEAVY FLOW

For heavy flow we recommend wearing our swimwear as a backup only to your regular sanitary product and check garment often.

Please note, our product is not an incontinence product.

What happens when I go swimming?

The three layered gusset in our garment works to trap and absorb blood, discharge or liquid while you swim. The outer garment has a water
proofing layer added to it to stop any water from coming into the swimsuit.

To better understand the absorbency and leak protection of our products with your flow, we recommend wearing your MYSS purchase at home in and out of the pool or shower for a few hours to figure out what works best for you.

How long will this swimwear protect me from leaks?

Our Gusset can hold up to 10 ml liquid; 2 regular tampon or 3 light tampons before we recommend changing.

However, how long it will take your swimwear to reach maximum absorbency is
different for each person and their period. To better understand the absorbency and leak protection of our products with your flow, we
recommend wearing your MYSS purchase at home in and out of the pool or
shower for a few hours to figure out what works best for you.

We do not advertise our product as a complete replacement for other sanitary products.

Has the technology been tested?

We can confidently say, yes!

All our fabrics are sourced from mills that manufacture using environmentally friendly processes that do not use toxic chemicals or solvents.

Our luxurious REPREVE is OEKO tex 100 certified. We have also done independent testing on our fabric through independent fabric testing laboratories.

We do not believe in testing on animals, but we do believe in testing on real everyday people. These products have
been wear tested by our founder Lisa & a girl gang of wear testers!

Is the gusset bulky?

Our slimline gusset is approximately 3-4mm in thickness at the centre of the gusset and is a layered design.

What is the life span of MYSS swimwear?

Whilst we do not have a specific lifespan, our garments can last up to 100 washes (or longer) This is also dependent on the wash and care of the garments.

I don’t know what size to pick?

MYSS has both a ladies and teen range that have been carefully fitted by a garment industry specialist and have been sized to cater for the
differences in adult and teen body sizes.

Can I return this swimwear?

Yes! We offer refunds and exchanges within 21 days of purchase on items returned in an original and unworn condition. This means, unworn, undamaged, unmarked swimwear with all tags and hygiene sticker still intact with all original packaging.
