A MODERATE FLOW = 2 regular tampons, 2 teaspoons or 10ml liquid
With a moderate flow, your wear time is reduced, we suggest checking the absorbency of your garment more regularly, and if you feel you need additional backup, please wear your regular sanitary products as well.
A MODERATE to HEAVY FLOW = 2+ Tampons

Do I need to wear a tampon or menstrual cup with this swimwear?
As we are all unique in our own way, the same can be said of our periods and daily changes in period flow. To better understand the absorbency of our products with your flow, we recommend wearing your MYSS purchase at home in and out of the pool or shower/bath to figure out what works best for you. If you have a heavier flow we recommend using our swimwear as an added backup, however on lighter days our swimwear is great worn alone.

What happens when I go swimming?
The three layered gusset in our garment works to trap and absorb blood and discharge while you swim. The bottom layer of our garments have a water proof layer added to it to stop water from coming into the swimsuit.
To better understand the absorbency and leak protection of our products with your flow, we recommend wearing your MYSS purchase at home in and out of the pool or shower/bath to figure out what works best for you.
How long will this swimwear protect me from leaks?
Our gusset can hold up to 10 ml liquid; 2 regular tampons before we recommend changing, however please monitor your swimsuit regularly when wearing it as your flow can unexpectedly change at times.
How long it will take your swimwear to reach maximum absorbency is different for each person and their period. To better understand the absorbency and leak protection of our products with your flow, we recommend wearing your MYSS purchase at home in and out of the pool or shower/bath to figure out what works best for you.
